No previous horse experience required, our sessions are ground based. Horse safety briefings are provided.
Formal referrals are not required, you can self refer.
Unfortunately, counselling isn’t covered by Medicare, as it falls outside the medical model. However, even with a Medicare rebate, many clients find that the out-of-pocket cost is similar to our session fees — without the need for a referral or mental health care plan.

Yes - Embrace Counselling Services is able to provide sessions for people that are self-managed or plan managed through the NDIS, where your plan includes Daily Living - Capacity Building/Counselling. A service agreement is provided.
Yes - Embrace Counselling Services is able to provide sessions for people that are self funded. Payment can be made by cash or via bank transfer.
Yes - I hold a Diploma of Counselling and I am a qualified Equine Assisted Mental Health Practitioner. I am registered with the Australian Counselling Association.
